Hi there! I’m Lola, a 38-year-old chef nestled in the foothills of Boulder, Colorado, where the mountains meet the sky and every sunrise feels like a fresh start. My kitchen windows overlook tall pines and hummingbird feeders, and more often than not, you’ll find me barefoot, blending a green smoothie with one hand and flipping through a dog-eared cookbook with the other.
My journey into healthy cooking didn’t start with a glamorous culinary school—it began with a diagnosis. In my early twenties, I was struggling with energy, digestion, and all the little signs your body gives you when it’s out of sync. A holistic nutritionist opened my eyes to the magic of food as medicine, and suddenly, my kitchen turned into a laboratory of healing. I wasn’t just cooking—I was experimenting, listening, learning.
I’m not into labels—vegan, paleo, gluten-free—they all have their place, but what I really believe in is balance and joy. I craft meals that are nourishing and deeply satisfying, like roasted sweet potato tacos with avocado crema, or lentil stew that simmers with smoky paprika and love. I grow herbs on my windowsill, bake sourdough with spelt and chia, and my blender is basically an extension of my arm.
What I love most is making healthy feel human. Yes, I ferment my own kraut and yes, I also make cookies that happen to be good for your gut. My goal isn’t perfection—it’s to help others fall in love with real food, in a way that fits their real life.
My little kitchen studio doubles as a filming space, where I share simple tutorials and honest stories—sometimes the sauce breaks, sometimes I forget the lemon, and that’s okay. I want people to feel like they’re cooking with a friend, not following a drill sergeant.
I’ve taught classes to new moms figuring out baby-led weaning, hikers prepping high-protein snacks, and even a few curious college students who’d never chopped a beet. And nothing lights me up more than that spark when someone tastes something clean and vibrant and says, “I didn’t know healthy could taste like this.”
So whether you’re here to find your next go-to weekday bowl or to explore anti-inflammatory pantry swaps, welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s make something beautiful—and good for you—together.
